Corruption of Arcana Playtest Update

Our first playtest is over and as we cool down from it we wanted to thank everyone who took part and gave us valuable feedback on how we should progress the development of Corruption of Arcana. From our perspective, this playtest was a massive success, in terms of development feedback and player enjoyment. Of course you are still able to play Corruption of Arcana with the version you have downloaded on your PC however the game itself will be removed from our Itch page until our next playtest scheduled for the end of February which, if development stays on track, should be a full demo. Everyone who participated in the playtest through our discord server will be mentioned inside the games credits in a 'special thanks' section.  

After a very successful playtest some of the team are taking a few days off to rest but that doesn't mean development slows down. Each Tuesday, starting on Jan 25th, a Devlog will be released featuring the current developments being made behind the scenes as a way to both track what progress us developers have made in the past week but also as a way to keep our community updated. Watch out for new information relating to our next playtest.

Community Challenges

To those who participated in one or more of our community challenges we wanted to thank you for the laughs you brought us here at Necropanda Games, it was very amusing watching you figure out and use the bugs and development tools we left in to set records. However there can only be one winner for each challenge, these are:

The winner of the speedrun challenge will receive an NPC named after them with a name of their choosing, and eventually a side quest featuring their character. 

As it is a little disappointing that no-one was able to defeat both secret bosses in one run, we will take this feedback and  see what we can do from our side of things to help players out.
